Dell has problems in quality with Indian call center

WallStreetJournal says that DELL is facing serious QA issues with their call centers in Bangalore, India. They are moving support for Optiplex-Desktops and Latitude Notebooks back to callcenters in Texas, Idaho and Tennessee. Dell says that especially corporate clients criticized the quality of support in India.

Dell does not plan to cut any of the 3000 jobs they created in India in 2001. A spokesman for the company said that they are just redistributing the work. From now on, they'll send more non-corporate customers to their callcenters in India.
