For a long time now we have had to ensure that all work places adhere to the DSE requirements (in the UK), and that staff have regular eye tests. Does anybody know if there are any recomendations as to hearing. I know we have to buy equipment to reduce the risk of acoustic shock but how do we quantify what extra equipment a user needs to ensure that they can actually here correctly and that the equipment itself is not contributing to hearing problems.

I know this probably sounds strange but in this increasing litigious world somebody will sue soon.
