I am a call centre employee and I am new here. Though i answer calls smartly but at times I get struck. U know when a customer says that XYZ product is available in market at better price and low cost. At many such occasions i feel totally at loss of words and ask them stupid questions or reply very stupidly. Could anyone out there suggest me to overcome this difficulty of mine?

Hi Ritu,

Yours is a very common problem. I am team leader of a team of 50 telecallers. We sell a dubai based office furniture FORM OUR MUMBAI OFFICE. Believe me it is not that difficult task,we generate about 30-40 leads per day. Even i started as telecaller. Few qualities are required for anybody who is making a call or answeing a call.First is: be ATTENTIVE,TRY TO EXTRACT AS MUCH AS U CAN FROM THE CUSTOMER,TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHERE HE IS DISSATISFIED. If he aks why should I go for product then repeat your benefits and Make them soung very THE BEST IN THE WORLD. Try that you talk again n again about the most lucrative part of your product.
Of course for all this you will have to keep him on line and for that your way of talking and ptich should be very friendly infact customer should feel that he is somehow know you. Then there are soft skills and interpersonal skills.
TRY THIS N TELL ME HOW MUCH IT HELPED YOU.

PALASH.
